We recommend Superior sharpening services for sharpening and repairing all Fountainhead Shears.

 

Superior Sharpening Services provides professional, factory certified shear sharpening to salon owners and stylists across the USA through their mail-in service.

Your shears will be inspected, sharpened, repaired if necessary, and returned to you within 72 working hours of their arrival in their shop.  Bumpers and pivot screw washers will be replaced as needed at no charge.  Finger tangs, tension plates, screws and tension dials can be replaced for a nominal fee.

If you would like to use their services, please package your shears carefully to prevent damage during shipment, insure the package for the appropriate amount and ship them by a company that provides tracking services for your package such as UPS or Fedex.  They do not recommend using regular mail.
